Roman Cat Sanctuary
Rome’s Torre Argentina Cat Sanctuary, located among the ruins of the Largo Argentina archaeological area, has provided shelter, food, and love to roman cats in the city center. The cats are living freely in the ruins as guardians identified by a specific name.
One of the places loved by cats is the ruins of the big podium located on the western side of the Area. It’s what remains of the Curia Pompei, where the Senate assembled and nearby the place where Julius Caesar was killed.
Cats can be sponsored by people with donations to help their well-being. It is like a sweet long-distance adoption.
